Our Story

We can make a difference!

We are a family run business and a limited company registered in the UK. We have years of experience in online tutoring offering the best service wherever you are. We provide private tutoring from GCSE to PhD in subjects based on Maths, Physics and Engineering.

Online tutoring has the benefit of saving both travelling cost and time and also it allows you to be tutored in a suitable and safe environment. A tailor made interactive whiteboard enables you to share documents/sketches/images and to save lessons as a pdf file.

All tutors are DBS checked.

Dr Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown

PhD, MSc, in Mathematics and

Mathematical Physics.

Director and Tutor

Matthew holds a PhD in Quantum Stochastic Calculus from the University of Nottingham. He is interested in the workings of time and the mechanisms of nature. He has been tutoring since completion of his PhD and continues to carry out research in Quantum Mechanics and Gravitation.

Matthew is currently tutoring Maths and Physics from A-level upwards, specialising in university mathematics and mathematical physics modules such as Quantum Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Special and General Relativity, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian Mechanics, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Stochastic Processes

"I am committed to the development of Mathematics and keeping the spirit of Mathematical Physics alive - understanding the world is my passion."

Dr Shirin Jowhari Moghadam

Shirin Jowhari Moghdam

PhD, MSc, BEng(Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering.

Director and Tutor

Shirin holds a PhD in Computational Structural Mechanics from Imperial College London. Her research is aimed to present simplified mechanics-based tools to enhance the understanding of a complex phenomenon called "Plastic Buckling". She is an active member of IStructE and has invaluable industry-related work experience which is extremely useful to engineering students.

Shirin is currently tutoring Maths from GCSE upwards and is specialised in university engineering modules such as Engineering MathsStructural Analysis, Mechanics and Design, Fluid Mechanics, Soil MechanicsFinite Elements, Aircraft Structures and Materials.

"I am passionate about every aspect of education and aim to help students better understand their subjects through a more interactive approach to learning."

Our Approach

Our Approach

Our Principles

Our Principles

We believe that students from GCSE to Postgraduate level do not always get the support they need at their school or university, so we have taken on the role of providing this.

We specialise in the long term development of our students and we understand the importance of the role that students play in achieving their success. The sooner students come to accept the difficulties they face in their learning environment the more they will benefit from their life ahead.

Often people seek a tutor as the reality of exams approach. In these cases we are always happy to help where we can.

What Should you expect from us

Our expectation from students
  • To identify your weaknesses and to help you strengthen them.

  • To guide you through your course material and help you develop as an independent learner.

  • Any work we give you to do is for your own development not for ours.

What we expect from our students

Students' expectation from us
  • Be punctual; being organised is essential towards your development.

  • Collaborate with your tutor; tutors cannot do miracles without the help of their students.

  • Do not be afraid of getting things wrong, it is the best way to learn!
